What time do the races start?
Gates Open At 4:00pm, hot laps begin at 6:45, heat races at 7:30 and typically our race program ends around 11:00pm. Please check our schedule to verify special events.

What is your policy on bringing coolers and alcohol?
Coolers are allowed but they must be no larger than 14? and may not contain glass beverages. Beer is allowed but we do not sell at speedway.

Do you have handicap parking and seating?
Yes. Handicap parking and seating are available.

Do you charge for parking?
Parking is always free at the Valley! However, come early for the premium spots

What kind of cars race at Ohio Valley Speedway?
The Valley races five different weekly divisions on Friday Night! The Divisions are: Super Late Models, UMP Modifieds, Sportmods, SCDRA 4 Cylinders, and youth WRA Mini Wedges. Plus the 410 Winged Sprints run 5-6 times a season along with other traveling series.

What happens if it rains?
Ohio Valley Speedway officials do everything possible to get the races in but if it does rain out we will offer a rain check for the next equal event.

What about Seating Options and Reserved Seating?
The Valley features mainly bleacher seating, bring a cushion or blanket if you have one. A small section overlooking turn 4 welcomes lawn chair seating but space is limited. Seating is on a first come first serve basis.

I have won or been given free tickets, are there any restrictions on their use?
Free tickets or giveaways are typically good for any regularly scheduled event and if it’s a special event just pay the difference in free ticket value and special event price.

How old do you have to be to enter the pits?
All ages are welcome in the pits at Ohio Valley Speedway. If you are under 18 you must have a parent present to sign a minor release form.

What Type of Food Do You Serve At Your Concessions? Cheeseburgers, Hot Dogs, Pulled Pork Sandwich, French Fries, “Mountaineer” Fries, Chili Cheese Fries, Nachos & Cheese, James IGA Pizza, Popcorn, Sweet Tea, Pepsi Products and Candy Bars!
